Hebei Baixiang Wind Farm, in the space of only 200 square meters, XCMG XCA1600 all-terrain crane
successfully hoisted the maximum diameter of 141 meters and installed it at 140 meters!
The assembled impeller and the spreader have a total weight of nearly 90 tons, from the ground level
to the successful docking of the cabin. The whole process takes only 40 minutes, and all 80 bolts are
tightened and installed in one and a half hours. The entire rotary and vertical lifting process perfectly
overcomes the disturbance of wind direction transients, demonstrating the XA1600's extremely
fragility and excellent precision. Excluding the gale waiting time, the first fan was effectively installed
for only 3 days, and the efficiency was nearly doubled.
At 10:18 am on May 6th, more than 80 wind power hoisting customers and media in the country
witnessed the XCA1600's first hoisting results, which caused great repercussions in the whole industry.
The rapid development has accelerated the escalation of demand for the Chinese wind power industry.
From plains to mountains, from high altitudes to low wind speeds, the “absolute height” of Chinese
wind power installations continues to increase. The 120-meter fan has become the mainstream, and
the application of the 140-meter fan is also fully accelerated.
As the all-terrain equipment of XCMG 1600 for all-terrain cranes for wind power, the upgrade is not
